BCE@ECB (Biblical Christian Education)

Biblical Christian Education is an important foundation for all Christian faith and as such, is taken very seriously here at ECB. Alongside the biblical preaching that is provided each week, we also hold a number of smaller, more focused Biblical Education classes, allowing a more in-depth look at the Bible, and how we can practically apply it to our lives.

Registration for BCE classes starting in March 2018 are now open.

Classes beginning on Sunday, 18 March: Purpose Driven Life | Son of God

One Day Prayer Training (Saturday, 10 March): Hindrances and Highways in Prayer

Purpose Driven Life
beginning 18 March 2018, 9:00 a.m. (6 weeks)
Room 1202, 2nd floor Office Building

The Purpose Driven Life course is a six-week class that will offer guidelines to help focus and simplify the decisions of life and find deeper meaning. This DVD taught class by Pastor Rick Warren (author), will explore a Christ-centered approach to the answering of three of life’s most fundamental questions:

The question of Existence: Why am I alive?
The questions of Significance: Does my life matter?
The question of Purpose: What on earth am I here for?

Living out the purpose for which we were created, moves us beyond mere survival and success, to a life of significance – the life we were meant to live in Christ.

Participants in A ‘Purpose Driven Life’ must be at least 18 years old
and proficient in English (no children please).

Son of God
beginning 18 March 2018, 11:00 a.m. (6 weeks)
Room 1205, 2nd floor Office Building

Whether you’re exploring the life of Jesus for the first time, or ready to take your faith to a deeper level, this study will provide practical steps to over-come temptation, suffering and persecution. This six-week (DVD taught) class is based on the film ‘Son of God’. Clips from the movie will be woven throughout the teaching. This class will prove to be a wonderful Lenten study, helping us to focus on the life, death and resurrection of Jesus during the season of Easter.

There’s nothing more important we can do with our lives than spending time getting to know Jesus. This practical teaching on the life of Christ and His impact on all who encounter Him, will be transformational.

Participants in the ‘Son of God’ must be at least 18 years old
and proficient in English (no children please).
